Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. She was born in Stavanger on June 15, 1996. She is professionally referred to as Aurora. Her name could be spelled by the name AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is a May 2015 release from Decca Records. It has received high praise from the music press and bloggers. Half the World Away - by the Oasis is a cover for John Lewis' Christmas ad as well as Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole - are already two covers worth noting that the artist has done. Katy Perry shared a tweet in which Perry promoted her song Runaway. It was her birthday. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory was of discovering an attic piano and becoming enthralled by the music it could produce. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to study music not to get an income or as a pastime and as a way to grow. She began writing songs of her own. As well as Bjork, she cites Leonard Cohen as an influence. When her mother told her that the songs she wrote might not be famous for her, however, but to encourage individuals to recognize the value of themselves and their impact to the world, she began singing them in public. The piano was her first instrument when she was six years old and started writing music at age nine. Her family didn't hear about it until she turned 14. Aurora's fame was not the goal of her. Aurora says she loves to compose music. To her, music is the best means of communicating anything.
