Kim Delaney has won Emmy Awards for the role of the character Detective Diane Russell. In addition, she was a part of series like All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives and CSI: Miami. Born as the only daughter to a top executive from the United Auto Workers and a housewife, Delaney was raised with four brothers. When she was a kid she was aspired to become a reporter for the court. After graduating from high school and relocating in New York in the 1980s then she started modeling. Her first acting job was as a teenager as a child in All My Children, a soap-opera from 1981. Delaney is an acclaimed actress, appearing featured in a variety of television dramas, and TV films. Like her career however, her private life has not been easy or prosperous. The talented actress was afflicted with alcoholism in the past and had two marriages that failed. The year 2005 was the time she lost custody of her only child that she had.
